LITTLE BLACK DRESS

Need a new way to stretch your UI bennefit dollars? Why not save the skrilla you spend on clothes and wear the same thing everyday?

Sheena Matheiken of The Uniform Project is doing just that. For an entire calendar year, she’ll be wearing the same dress [or rather, one of seven identical dresses—one for every day of the week] as an exercise in sustainable fashion. Sheena started The Uniform Project in May, and will be mixing it up by experimenting with layers and accesories, the majority of which will be vintage, handmade, or hand-me-down accouterments.

It’s also a year-long fundraiser for the Akanksha Foundation, a grassroots movement that is revolutionizing education in India. Resourceful, socially-concious and creative! Kudos to you, you most fashionable lady!

Check out Sheena’s imaginative looks above, and every day at theuniformproject.com.
